Abstract:Photocatalytic CO2 reduction is an ideal low-carbon green technology to alleviate energy crises and reduce CO2 emissions. The core of this technology is the development of highly active photocatalysts. In recent years, Bi based photocatalysts have attracted widespread attention from researchers both domestically and internationally due to their narrow bandgap and high photoexcitation efficiency. In this paper, the research progress of Bi-based photocatalytic CO2 reduction was reviewed, the basic principle of Bi-based catalytic CO2 reduction and the preparation of Bi -based catalysts were introduced respectively, and the strategies of Bi-based catalysts were emphatically introduced, including morphology regulation, doping, introduction of defects, supported cocatalyst, crystal surface regulation and heterojunction construction, and the application prospects of Bi-based photocatalysts were discussed.
